Hello. This is Mullae Metal City. MMC has continued for the past 12 years without missing a single year, and this year we have decided to take a short rest. This is not because of operational difficulties or a lack of passion. It is a time for me and the crew, who have run without pause for so long, to recharge, and a period of preparation to take the scale and content of the festival up another level. We are truly sorry to the metalheads who were waiting for news of this year's show that we cannot put a stage in front of you. We ask for your generous understanding, and we promise to come back next year with even stronger and more varied programs. MMC is pausing for a moment, and we will use this time to prepare for a bigger leap forward. Thank you for your continued expectations and support. Thank you.

News on 2020 MMC Metal Pandemic.

Date: November 7 and 8 Venue: Nodeul Island Multipurpose Hall “Soop”

We will resume the shows.

The show was postponed right at the last moment and, on top of that, we had to find a new venue — a desperate situation — but after combing Seoul inch by inch, we found a great space. We owe it to the audience, musicians and staff who waited with us to the end despite the postponement.

The 2020 MMC main stage takes place at the multipurpose hall “Soop” on Nodeul Island, above the Hangang Bridge in Seoul. We want to spend a great time with you with sound so intense that the bridge will shake and waves will rise on the Han River.

Because of the postponement, part of the lineup has changed.

Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, we announce that next week’s Metal Pandemic shows (August 29–30) are tentatively postponed. We ask the audience’s understanding for this unavoidable decision, made for everyone’s safety. We are currently exploring a new date between October and early November, and will announce the date and venue as soon as they are confirmed. We will do our best to meet you again soon with a safe and great show.

If you booked directly by bank transfer, text us your name and your wish for a refund (including your refund account), and we will process it as soon as possible.
